Day 1 of being dairy-free: Try Organic Vanilla Soymilk

It's pretty good and doesn't leave an after-taste like milk does. I'm using it in my cereal for breakfast and it's vegan and gluten-free as well.
I would buy this product again because it's sweeter and only 100 calories.

Silk Nog for the Holidays!

I was craving Egg Nog but now that I'm dairy-free I had to find an alternative. Silk Soy Milk makes Egg Nog. It's dairy-free,lactose-free, cholesterol free, and worry free! It is smooth and lighter compared to regular Nog. You've got to try this! Only 90 calories! I am absolutely sold on this product!

Dairy-free starting now!

So today I decided I should cut out dairy (mostly milk) from my diet because I have exhausted all other options in clearing my acne. I'm going to try it out and see if it helps. If it does then I hope I can help give tips to others who are struggling with the same problem. Follow me on my journey to clear skin!!!

December Favorites!!

Yesterday I bought the Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner from the Body Shop and tried it twice already. I absolutely love it! It is mattifying and smells fresh and clean! I think it works great for blemished skin and doesn't over-dry. I highly recommend this product. It retails for $11 but I got it for 50% off when you go to the store they always have some sort of sale, lucky me!

Products I use around the house...Hydrogen peroxide

Try this tip: Are you suffering from acne and are wondering how to clear it up faster after popping them?

I started using Hydrogen peroxide on my blemishes that I have popped and it heals them twice as fast and clears up any remaining bacteria left behind. I should have done this years ago to prevent any scarring. It will dry them up too so it won't look as inflammed. Just use a Q-tip, dab ontop of any blemish or new acne and it will heal it quicker. I seriously tried using Salicylic acid and Benzoyl Peroxide and it just leaves my skin dry and red for days (to me it feels like years). Hope this helps anyone out :) and try to relax....breathe....OHMMMMMMMMM (-.-)

Skin care regimen as of last week

So I began using Cetaphil gentle facial cleanser (the one for all skin types) for about a week now. I think it has made my skin feel smoother, and the dryness around my eyes is gone. I'm using it with Eucerin sensitive skin moisturzer with SPF 30. I don't notice any diminish in acne though. I have some breakouts on my chin but I guess I will continue to use it and see if it makes them go away for good.

I also only drink water to keep me hydrated. That's my best tip to keeping your skin looking younger. I'm trying to avoid sugary foods because they cause inflammation in your skin and I'm trying to be healthier. I'm going incorporate more fruits and vegetables as usual and to start taking Vitamin D supplements 1000 IU. I read that Vitamin D can help reduce acne as well, and for people who don't get enough sunlight (like me) will become deficient in it.

Every morning I use Flaxseed with Omega-3 FA in my breakfast. This is something I've been doing for years and I think it is really helpful in keeping me healthy.
