After coming home, I used Loreal Eye makeup remover, and it says it removes waterproof makeup. Well I don't wear waterproof makeup but my eyelids began to get irritated, red, and puffy. I think I'm allergic to the eye makeup remover. I didn't have this problem with the Clinique eye makeup remover so I'm definitely going to switch back to Clinique's brand. UGH!! Now I'm resting my eyes because they hurt when I blink.
ReplyDeleteJust a side note: I think I'm going to find makeup with natural ingredients in it too like Physician's Formula that doesn't contain Talc. Eyeshadows can be irritating to eyes too, even if you've never had an allergy, you can always develop one at any time.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe my eyelids are still irritated. The only thing that helps moisturize them is Vaseline. I think this is the trick to avoid any other products that will cause more dryness or irritation. Also, I heard that washing your eyelids with Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo will help get rid of irritation or use makeup remover cloths rather than eye makeup remover. Hope this helps!!
